Our present legal system excludes, in a strange fashion, the biggest gangsters from being punished. The rule of survival for criminals seems to be:

Seemingly the government can remove people without any big bother: Manipulating the judiciary is easy. Consequently, a series of murderous activities remain a secret, other cases clearly indicate that police & judiciary do not intend to proceed against the authors of various terrorist acts and the like.

As a citizen ( does this term fit ? ) one faces an almost invincible adversary when conflicts are produced, equipped with an arsenal even the worst tyrants in history would not even have dared to dream about. Technology and infrastructire supply the government apparatus with weapons that can easily be used on unwanted elements of any kind, while the effect in terms of tyranny is heavily enlarged by a lack of predictability: It is impossible to foresee who will get hit, criteria are diffuse, and the tyrant certainly does not want to publish his eliminination patterns.

Being democratic it is commonly denied that executions of various types occur regularly. The ruled flock gladly believes this and continues to sleep.

Even the borderlines between war and peace are not clear: The government still runs the place on a wartime legal basis, using "threats " to justify innumerable unconstitutional or simply criminal acts. Acting like a criminal certainly provides them with further money, for sure.

We are used to view the holocaust as the most horrible of events. Denying this is a criminal offense. Being bothered by a media routine of marketing the holocaust you may be accused of being a " spiritual assassin " or something.

Still, the most horrible of events did not really produce accurate legal results. Strange it looks when big amounts of SS and Gestapo staff were utilized " to combat communism " by the US government so that a large part of the Gestapo network in this outer province of the empire remained intact - with a control amount that judged by American standards is ridiculous, even stranger when this is done under the supervision of the holy Vatican ( for example ). Only a tiny percentage of murderers was convicted, or, in cases, killed by Jewish revenge groups - and even in the commie bloc the party chose to utilize fascist bureaucrats - to run their own concentration camps. What were Nazi helpers used for by the US government ? To write poems ? Probably not.

Now Deutsche Bank is close to being the biggest bank in the world. The fact that this company was deeply involved in marketing the holocaust during the war, did not keep it away from the position currently held.

Hoechst ( former part of IG Farben ) will shifted  into the position of the largest life sciences company worldwide. IG Farben ran various factories in concentration camps, including Auschwitz, the most notorious. Life sciences professionals....

The fact that Mobil & Exxon will posibly form the biggest of all corporations ever is ironic enough: Reversing a former antitrust rule they  managed to revitalize Standard Oil. Still it looks unpleasant when it is considered that precisely these firms had close interconnections with IG Farben even during the IInd world war, when the holocaust was run. Various investigations were undertaken about the precise structure of these fruitful agreements, but: Till today the agreement reached in 1928 - basically keeping the German conglomerate out of the oil business and oil trusts out of the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors - seems to be valid.

Is it profitable to market the holocaust ? Yes.

It has been a great deal for war industries worldwide. They made enormous amounts of money. It has been a great deal for the media nowadays, attracting millions and millions of consumers paying billions of bucks. It has been a great deal for Deutsche Bank, and even a fair one for the Rockerfeller bunch. It has been a good deal for the US space industries, having hired e.g. Wernher v. Braun, a guy that utilized concentration camp slave labour.

It is big business for lawyers who try to manage compensation suits by victims. 

It has not been a great deal for the slaves being used for maximizing several cartels´profits. Most of them died within unpleasant conditions. Cannibal capitalism seems to have established itself.

Ironically, even the newly founded state of Israel profited from the Nazi emigration policy, filling the place with highly skilled Jews / Germans that were always appreciated in emerging countries. 

Marketing the holocaust has become an attitude to promote claims of any kind. People that do not act morally manage to create a moral image, and objections can be killed by putting the adversary into some pro - holocaust fraction. 

Leaving the fascist scenario and moving over to the commie one, you find that in almost all of the former commie countries the vast majority of bureaucrats that willingly committed a lot of atrocious acts do not spent the rest of their lives in jail, but belong to the newly emerged elites, still are massively influential, and take part in government businesses. Apart from that, the KGB power structure remained intact, either.

The richest parties in these places are the former communist parties. And: Even in Germany the richest political party may be PDS, heir of the former GDR commie bunch.

Stalin himself ordered a few war criminals to be executed, but never had any personal trouble because of some few million people being butchered before the IInd world war.

Crime pays off ?

There are hundreds of thousands precedents in the twentieth century that clearly indicate that even the most horrible deeds do not produce consequences, not to mention less horrible ones. Committed in the name of some government or some ideology it is even more likely that NO legal result is produced.

This will shape the attitudes of any future government....
